In the distant future, humans live under the guidance of the Shepherds—Androids that worship the all powerful Algorithm. In order to maintain an orderly society, The Algorithm determines the fate of each person through a ceremony called The Unbecoming. My first, full-length comic. Over 200 panels, summing to about 35 printed pages. However, this comic is designed to be read on a mobile device as an “infinite-scroll” comic, a format popularized by the platform I published it on, Webtoons. This story is a prologue to a much longer science fiction epic I have been working on. The backgrounds were made with the assistance of Unreal Engine, while the characters were fully hand-drawn and colored. I loved working with the infinite-scroll format and used it to tell the story in a way that would not have been possible in a more conventional print format.

Since writing Automata Prophecy, I have been experimenting with a variety of stories and subject matters. In this one, a young woman wakes up from a cryo-chamber in a mysterious facility, with no memory of how she got there.

The comic is still a work in progress. Read Colony No.5 on Tapas.
